You can call me Ash.

Hi, I’m Ashley Watson,
and this is my mental health blog.

In 2019, I experienced a severe hypomanic episode
that resulted in getting diagnosed with
bipolar ii disorder.
I started this blog after arriving at a place of peace with my illness, in the hopes that I could reach as many people as possible to give encouragement and hope that suffering from mental health issues does not have to be a death sentence, and that you can live a rich, full, abundant life despite what you’ve been diagnosed with. Thank you for being here and thank you for reading what I’ve poured my heart into.

The following 3 years consisted of extreme growth; coming to terms with my diagnosis, figuring out the world of mental health medication and psychiatry, and learning so many new skills to cope with the ebbs and flows of the disease I live with.
